Repair Drop-Off Checklist
Purpose: Ensure all CPLS staff follow protocol to avoid miscommunication, unexpected repair charges, and lost equipment.
Photograph Equipment:
- Take clear photos of the equipment before handing it over.
- Include serial number, visible damage, and condition.
Remove Spray Gun Tip:
- Detach the spray gun tip and store it safely before drop-off.
Instruct Repair Shop on Price Cap:
- Clearly tell the mechanic: Call Ryan Bell if the repair estimate goes over $300.

Require Signature from Repair Shop:
- Inform them: “You must call before any work over $300 is approved. If you don’t, CPLS will not pay for it.”
- Get the repair shop to sign acknowledging this condition.
Authorize Estimate-Only Inspection First:
- Instruct the repair shop to conduct an inspection only and provide an estimate.
- Let them know you will approve or decline repairs after reviewing the estimate.
If Estimate Exceeds $300 Without Approval:
- Do not return to this repair shop again.
- Notify management immediately.
Leave a Copy of This Checklist with the Repair Center:
- Print or email a copy to ensure they understand the terms and expectations.
